Steam & Condensate Distribution Upgrades

The Ohio State University

$4,600,000

Kenmore crews worked just south of Ohio Stadium on The Ohio State campus to provide steam system upgrades to deteriorated distribution lines. The project helped to increase the capacity and distribution to provide for future campus expansion. The replacement steam lines also supported the midwest campus area from the McCracken Power Plant to near the Drake Union. The work included excavation, construction of a concrete tunnel for the steamlines, water proofing, cast in place steam vaults and restoration.
