The project calls for the re-routing of the Akron SR 59 Innerbelt into an adjacent street system from Exchange Street through Howard/N Main Street intersection. The work includes the removal of 2 ramps and 2 bridges located south of Cedar Street, the reconstruction of MLK Jr. Blvd. through the Howard/N Main Street intersection, widening of the Center Street bridge between Dart and Rand Avenues, and the removal the of State Street Bridge.
