This project calls for the renovation of 3,275 feet of the City of Akron Main Street Corridor encompassing the entire right of way from Cedar Street to Mill Street. The intersection of Main Street and Mill Street will be converted to a single lane round-a-bout. The work includes the replacement of the State Street Bridge between Water Street and Main Street, new roadway, decorative walks, cycle track, traffic signals, bus zones and utility facilities and relocations for First Energy, Akron Energy Systems and AT&T.
