Kenmore Construction was chosen by the City of Akron as the Construction Manager At Risk to construct a 6.5 million gallon combined sewer overflow storage basin adjacent to the existing Rack 12 sewer outfall. The storage basin was equipped with a combination of manual and automated flushing/washdown systems, flow valving and metering controls, floatables screening, an operations building, a new access drive, lighting, fencing, storm and sanitary sewer as well as river restoration and bank stabilization.
